the imacs get a bit hot up top.
got an imac 20"
top left of the screen housing feels hot
here are my temp readings.
power supply 57C (located near top left of screen)
cpu core 1 43C
cpu core 2 43C
graphics processor 49C
I've got a fan controller app that lets me set the speeds of the odd, hdd, and cpu fans......but I'm not sure how fast to run them at. Worried that if I have them running constantly I'll wear them out. Currently bumped all fans up to about 2900 rpms.

check ur fkn tower if theres enough airflow going in and out of it....
hence many variables dude....
i got my fkn tower on my desk, fkn keeps on blowing out hot air and fkn dust, fkn hayfever is a also...
