now pacTenlong has to take off that pac10 hat for an hour
sons this Washington team is pretty legit ... we (LSU) escaped them a couple weeks ago after the long road trip up there and everyone was hating on us for the way we played. great game and LOL at USC
you to the bcs expert who were already predicting usc to run the table and jump texas
JGW your season is over before it even began
I will BET MY LIFE usc will be the highest ranked 1 loss team for the rest of the season, and have the highest bcs of 1 loss teams
how do i know this?
because i am smart.
.they may not even be ahead of Oklahoma this week.
Or because you know about the bull USC bias the BSC voters have.
USC's once a year Pac-10 road loss came early this year.
USC's been hosed by the BCS more often than favored IMO.
the Pac 10 in general! With Oregon in 2001 and California in 2004!
I've only been paying attention to college football for a few years so I'm not incredibly informed.
My favorite moment in USC history though is when BEFORE the Texas game, they were ranking the top college teams of all time and had the 2005 Trojans #2 all time ahead of the 1995 Huskers.
Hopefully they still lose to the OSU Beavers!!!
That was ridiculous over hyping by ESPN... they DID have one of the best offenses of all time though.
I think they were screwed by the BCS system last year though... even if their schedule/resume wasn't better than OU's that team was just too damn good to not get a shot at a le because of an unlucky September loss. One of the best D's of BCS era.
Playoff please.
Here's my view:
USC's one loss came against a team it had no business losing to.
Oklahoma's one loss came against what was another top 5 team that season.
I over simplify it a lot, but my view when arguing about which 1 loss team should make it should come down to the loss each one had.
Either way, IMO it should have been Texas vs. Florida last year.
sons USC tends to always be over hyped in the media, but in fairness to them ... they always back it up in the bowl games. I can't hate on them for that.
the only year that I think USC truly got hosed was the 03-04 season. It SHOULD have been LSU vs USC for the championship game ... not LSU vs Chokela . Florida, LSU, and USC have been the best three teams in the country over the last 5 years or so overall. Those three teams always back it up in when it counts.
just....great.....what people in spurstalk love to see
