James Gist is Gonna play over seas!
Interesting. Perhaps he has already agreed to play for the Toros?
gist is not good enough to wear the silver and black
Looks like the making of another Championship team. Turn out the lights on your way out the backdoor, Lakers. And don't let that door hit you in yer' ass on your way out!
It's going to be a damn good training camp!
The silence on James Gist is fascinating.
I think so too. I was hoping he'd be in camp and have that experience even if he wasn't going to make the team. Hopefully we hear something soon.
Did they mean he looked shorter or taller?
i really hope haislip gets through we need him,in order for us to be that much more effective agains odoms in l.a
do you guys know how long camp lasts?
Wich only matters. His wingspan also makes up for whatever lack of height there might be.
Wouldn't be shocked to see Ratliff play with Blair if he can't play defense in the last part of the year, but from what I've heard about him, I'm completely faithfull he will catch on just fine.
His defense looked pretty bad in the SL, but that's to be expected from an undersized rookie..I agree that we'll probably see Ratliff playing with him, and I'd expect a lot of Duncan with him as well..
I wouldn't judge too much of his defense in SL.
Lotta people better keep in mind this team isn't gonna be very good till probobly january. Its gonna take em a while to get on the same page.
That's 18 guys. I'm guessing to cut it down to a 15 man roster Williams, Jerrells, and Jones will be cut when it is all said and done...
Not necessarily. The Spurs have until the end of October to decide whether Ian Mahinmi is a "keeper". With TP working with Brungy and Chip for the first couple of weeks and sitting out the first 2 or 3 pre-season games, Marcus Williams should get some time to show his floor leadership ability, along with George. If Marcus can play multiple positions, lead guard and on the wing, then he'll stick and maybe Hairston, Jerrells and Ian draw the short straw.
I doubt Hairston does. He's shown great strides and has the potential to be a damn good contributor.
exciting, preseason is inching closer and closer. sucks to see gist not on there but hopefully he continues to improve.
yes. Damn, why couldn't the Bucks have demanded Fin in the trade for RJ, so both MW and Hairston could have a chance.
Nice, I cant wait anymore longer!! I want to see them play, damnn let the season begin :P
Im looking forward to seeing blair play.
theres talk that marcus camby could be shipped halfway through the season if the clippers season doesnt goto plan...
maybe we could give them something they want
He's really not that undersized. He's got the bulk to prevent guys from pushing him around down low, and his vertical reach is higher than Blake Griffin's (who NOBODY has called undersized).
There is absolutely no basketball skill whatsoever associated with who has the highest forehead.
