Anyone buy stuff off of craigslist?
What happens, if say, you want to buy a used guitar, and you meet the buyer in person, you inspect the item, and you buy it.
Only to later find there is something wrong with the guitar.
Do they have to give you your money back?
Does anyone know the buyer rights when it comes to buying used goods between owners?

I found a great roommate on Craigslist. But beware, I talked to several crazy people before finding a suitable choice.
I practically built the house at the ranch off of craigslist...appliances, tile, flooring, plumbing fixtures, furniture, TV's etc....You cannot reasonably expect a warranty on used stuff you bought on craigslist.

Besides google and pornhub, craigslist is one of the websites I frequent most throughout the day. I love craigslist.
I believe if you read through this http://www.craigslist.org/about/terms.of.use, you'll find that you're out of luck if you want a refund on a purchase.

Ask for a refund. If we're talking about a ton of money or a collectors item take him/her to small claims court.

I've bought & sold on craigslist. It is buy at your own risk. I've made about $800 selling stuff in the last few months. I've made a lot more money than I would have if I had a garage sale, on just stuff in my garage. I search their wanted ads everyday to see if I have a potential buyer for the various stuff I want to get rid of.
