Perry is a megalomaniac. It must be a male cheerleader thing.
...Governor Goodhair isn't even liked in his own party...he really thought he had a chance to get on the McCain ticket...I doubt we'll see another US. Pres. from Texas for some time....
I personally don't think he is necessarily a bad guy even if I don't always agree with him politically. He really wounded himself politically by supporting the Trans Texas Corridor so strongly...and history may still vindicate him on that one...I always had mixed feelings about that one...creating the right-of-ways between all our major cities for high speed city to city mass transit (think bullet train) could have really set Texas up for the future...
The prosecutor in this case actually said this man was a devil worshiper for having "Iron Maiden" posters....
videos on case.
I think you forgot that you made the same allegation about Glen Beck except last time you offered a million dollars to anyone who could prove he didn't........what no million dollars this time.
This thread isn't going away guys, not just yet
Some people I work with have met him a couple of times. They say he's kind of a prick. Complete opposite to Bush (who they also met as governor) whom they tell me was very approachable and one of the nicest guys you could ever want to meet. FWIW...........
Enough Rick Perry. Time for some new blood.
I don't know if he's a bad man; I don't think he's a very smart man.
When you push for an execution, even when exculpatory evidence is presented to you proving a person innocent, evil doesn't do your description justice.
I dont know, however it does look like he is a man.

Justice Eva Guzman is embraced by Gov. Rick Perry after being appointed to replace Scott Brister on the Texas Supreme Court at a ceremony at Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston. (Yesterday)
Well for lack of a better phrase...
What's done can't be undone, but the truth has to come out. I really can't blame him though, he doesn't want to be known as the first sitting Governor to preside over the execution of an innocent man.
