I'm pretty sure you also need a laptop
I have been using my handheld digital camera to do this, point it at TV lol then transfer to PC
but obviously quality sucks. I'm supposed to use a capture device like DAZZLE right?
problem is, my 32" HDTV does not have "Video out" or "Monitor out" ... no video output. only audio output...
does anyone know a way around this? i want to play on my HDTV and record on my PC. i don't want to play on my PC monitor.

nah, desktop PC will do too
If you dont have a monitor out feature on your TV, the only other way I know of is to use a Video Distribution Amplifier PLUS you will still need the Dazzle... they are not exactly cheap but they work great.
Here's one for $140.00

You would go from the Xbox to the VDA, use one of the ports from the VDA to your TV so you can see, use another port to the Dazzle and then to your PC for recording.
I think that one uses component video though so you may need to buy the component cable for the X-box 360 if you dont already have it.
pick up one of those vcr/dvd recorders they are under $100 now. you burn your footage to dvd then rip it and do what you want.
Don't you need a capture card? I have been wanting to do this too. I have my xbox hooked up to my PC monitor because it has full HD and my tv is only 1080i.
I did that when I had a PS2 and a Videotape player, with NBA 2k7
I plugged the RGBY calbe to VT
I recorded the only game I lost![]()
Try a game bridge from Adaptec. I pad $20 dollars for mine.

I use mine to pull vids off the DVR also.
