    Even without getting number 1.

    Right?

They get it through the first two rounds. If Phoenix gets number 1 but isn't there in the WCF, the Spurs then take home court. Then in the finals as well.

    Correct?

I think so, assuming a better record (or winning the tie-breaker) than Miami; unless there is some Bud Selig legislation afoot that I have forgotten.

That is correct. And as Jim pointed out, the magic number for getting HC in the finals is now 1 since Miami lost AGAIN last night!

"since Miami lost AGAIN last night"

I figure Heat have lost Finals HCA to Spurs beyond hope of recovery, since Heat are now 3 games behind Spurs for HCA.

Pacers lost to Sixers @IND, so I figure they will be fired up @MIA Sunday and riding on their confidence of having beaten Heat 3-0 this season.

Who has the tiebreaker between SA and Miami?

Miami is only 2 losses behind, what if they win out, and the Spurs go 1-3?

    "tiebreaker between SA and Miami"

Spurs, having better record vs EC than Heat vs WC.

You mean 0-3? There are only 3 games left.

"Miami is only 2 losses behind"

NO! Heat are +2 in losses vs Spurs, but they must go all the way to -1 in losses, cannot end up tied with Spurs, since Spurs have the tie-breaker.

So "Heat are effectively 3 losses behind Spurs"

Well if the Heat win the rest of their games, and we lose the rest of our games, we will be tied with them so its not over yet. It's possible because I really don't think Pop cares what seed we get.

It doesn't matter if we tie, we have the tiebreaker over Miami.

Oh yeah, my bad. Well, we are in the clear for the finals then if we make it.
