Well I bought a new desktop computer back in August from Dell. You can get a free upgrade to Windows 7, but It wont be until 2 weeks after its releases to the public. So i'm patiently waiting for 2 weeks to pass.

I am running W7 Ultimate 64-bit .... I like it a lot better than vista. I like what they did to the taskbar and quick menu Icons..... only thing I am having issues with is my HDMI connection wont play sound off my tv anymore... but that'll be fixed in time.

Runs pretty much the same as Vista and XP do. It boots fast and the taskbar doesn't suck ass anymore now that it isn't 15 years out of date.

You don't have to reinstall programs. I had all mine after upgrading from Vista.

I also like how when you are downloading a program, the icon in the tray will highlight in green kind of like a progress bar. :

If you have Linksys 10/100 ethernet, get a new one. They still don't have a driver for Vista, let alone 7.

XP: Too basic. Vista, Too bloated. Windows 7- Jackpot! This is how I feel about Windows 7, there's no doubt about it.
