Most other places still have Duncan on 1st team. It will be interesting to see what happens.
SI writers did not put Tim Duncan on their All-NBA first team. I'm not quite sure if he'll make it this year. And if he doesn't, it will be the first time in his career.

so, who's on it right now? Let me guess....steve nash, shaq, wade. just to name a few of my guesses.
Most places I read have Shaq, Duncan, Dirk, Nash and either Wade or LeBron.

Well, he has missed almost 1/5 of the season, so perhaps he is not deserving.

An unbroken string of many yeara is note-worthy, without the ugly asterisk of "2005: injured".
If he doesn't make it, maybe it will motivate him even more in the playoffs.

I don't even see how you can put KG up there on 1st team, but 2nd or 3rd I can see.
KG has great numbers. That's how you put him up.
Still, Tim deserves to be there. But if he doesn't make it, I'm sure another Ring (how many do KG and Dirk have?) will help ease his suffering...
How come when Nash or Shaq miss a few games and their teams suck in their absence people use that to show they're the Mvp or First team?, but when Tim misses some games and our team still does good, they hold that against him. KG's team lost a load of games with him playing, what does that say about him? I think leadership and importance to a team should count in these selections, not just stats. Just because our team isn't as reliant on Tim as we were in years past doesn't mean he is not the anchor for our team, which is only the second best team in the league record wise as of right now. It just upsets me that most of the media hardly ever mentions Tim in the MVP race and now in the NBA First team Selections, That is just FK'in ridiculous!
If he doesn't get selected, he can tell all of them were to stick their selection when hes lifting that trophy in June.
I think they also had Manu going in the 2nd team and a few other questionable decisions, but hey I think Tim is a lock for first team.

I did, that idiot put Tim on the All-NBA 3rd team and didn't even put him in the top 5 for DPOY.

Making the All NBA teams is all about stats.
Timmy hasn't had a strong year statistically, so I think it might be a long shot for him to make the 1st team. Oh well.

The only person who could push Duncan off is KG. No way he gets the honor with the way his team fell apart this year... same reason I wouldn't give it to James. His team went to after the all-star break.
