Currently, Brown's back is getting better, but his right leg is very weak(from a pinched nerve from the dislocated disc maybe?). His leg is getting stronger each day, but not enough for him to play anytime soon.

Should the Spurs put Brown in the playoff lineup?

In my opinion these players are surely going to be in our playoff roster:

    Duncan: MVP

    Rasho: Defensive presence

    Parker: Scorer

    Ginobili: Scorer, Clutch

Bowen: 3pt specialists, defensive player of the year

Udrih: shooting; great passer; despite latest rumors about him getting cut, i think he will definently make the playoffs rosterm, especially from yesterday's performance, 4 threes.

    Barry: good passer and shooter

Robinson: good shooter; a needed body just in case Brown is in the Roster and can't play

Mohammad: has been playing great, a definite lock

    Horry: clutch shooter

    Massenbury: added body and toughness

So there is only one spot left between Brown, Wilks, and Marks.

I say put Brown in the IR and place Wilks in the playoff roster. Why?

    1) We are probably going to play denver, and Wilks will help guard Boykins

    2) Brown might not get better so would be short one body. Even if he does get better, Back problems are reaccuring so it can go out anytime

    3) We don't need Marks, since we have enough bigmen.

    What's your opinion?

When Playoffs time begin, you should bring your best players, that means that if their is a slight chance for Devin to come back and play this year, we should bring him.
He is better than Wilks or Marks and brings totally different things that Barry can't, no way we leave him off the roster.

Yes, I agree that you need to put your best players on the roster. However, if the player isn't a starter type of player, like Duncan, it's too risky. Further, by playoff time, the Spurs will have to shorten the bench so Brown might not get much playing time anyways.

I would take Marks over Wilks with Rasho coming back from injury IMO

Brown still isn't able to participate in contact practicing yet.

If Brown looks like he'll be able to play at all in the playoffs, then put him on. If not, add Wilks for when Beno can't guard the other team's PG.

Agreed. , at this point, I would take Marks over Devin Brown. Too many questions on his health, and we know Marks can play!

(yeah, I know Sean only made 2 pts last night, but that dunk was a nice way to make them! 2 pts, 2 reb in 5 min.)

EDIT: Compare to Wilks' 2 pts, 1 Turnover in 7 minutes. I know, only one game, but still good to keep track of...
