Depends on if the 'lost to terrible KState by 40' or 'beat good ttek by 20' team shows up. At least ISU has been consistent this year. When they damm near beat KU people thought KU was choking; in reality it was because ISU is decent. They beat Neb at Neb with a backup true Frosh QB.
If ISU wins they will already be bowl eligible and they have tuff schedule ahead (OSU, CU @ Mizzou). If ISU beats atm, they could very conceivably win 8 games.
atm needs to win this game if they want to go bowling. At 4-3, they have yet to play at uo, at CU, and BU and UT at home.
Theoretically, both teams could be bowl eligible. If CU is as bad as their record and atm can beat a hapless BU team, atm would be 7-5 or 6-6 while if ISU loses at Mizzou they could be 7-5 or 6-6 also.
I simply cannot pick ISU to win a game, but they have played SO well lately. Since a beat down by Iowa, ISU has killed Kent and Army, lost squeakers to KU and KSU (don't laff the same KSU team that killed atm) then taken care of business against BU and playing better D than Neb. ISU had not won a conf game away from Ames since 2005... which was at atm.
I dunno... I like ISU in this game, I just can't bring myself to pick them.
