She'd been battling cancer over the past two months, endured surgical intervention... died while sleeping in her bed a couple of minutes ago...

I really was sympathising. I figured it be in poor taste to post the url without at least acknowleding your loss.

Not everyone at work would understand that a post here or there during the workday should necessarily be construed as "not working"... Spurstalk.com is my distraction from hours on end of working on the same spreadsheets/projects/troubleshooting problems etc... it helps me work better... since the cat is out of the bag... what exactly was your point?

Condolences. I have 4 dogs and will be very sad to see any of them go.
Cute dog. She looks well groomed and taken care of so she probably had a happy life.
I feel sorry for you, that sucks. I have a dog myself, I know how important a pet is for its owner!

I feel your pain. We had to put or 10-year-old terrier down a few months ago as she too was ravaged by cancer.
What a cutie, how much love she must have brought into your home. I'm sorry for your loss.
