An important game as you never know how Suns will far etc. and it is important to keep playing well and a couple of road wins would be nice going into playoffs. I for one am glad we are not playing a Grizz team with their backs against the Wall - thanks for choking Wolves.

I don't think Mike will let them slip by on that. After 4 straight losses, he/they need to win "to turn it around" by their own effort (not MIN's), as he said, to build confidence. Ending the season 0-6, in the playoffs only due to TWolves' loss, and then facing the Suns would be very unpleasant.
Whether the Grizz will respond to Mike's exhortations to play well even with 8 seed clinched, we'll see.
Grizz could be making the calculation, unconsciously, that they have less chance to get one win by beating the healthy Mavs on Wed than beating the Spurs with a so-so Tim, Devin out, and 2 new Spurs guys, so they might be really up for tonight's game as their best chance for at least 1 W.
Spurs absolutley have to win this game to keep the momentum and confidence a-building. Losing tonight, even with a partial contrib from Tim, would really piss me off. Grizz are ing 8th seed by the skin of their teeth. Losing would show the Spurs to be unable to avoid the incosistency, unable to show focus/aggression against a near-lottery team less than a week before the first playoff game.
Tonight is playoff tune-up, damn near a statement game, stating "Spurs are ready for the playoffs".
