    Corzine was really, really unpopular.

    Just like Republicans in general were really, really unpopular last year.

    No need to overstate mandates or pretend there have been fundamental changes in at ude.

    Not surprising at all. This Corzine jackass kept on rising taxes and still had a ballooning deficit. We had two instances in the last 4 years where state workers would go on strike because of unpaid wages, freezing the entire state government.
    My wife was telling me today that even the Dems she knew were going to go vote him out.
