This part of the tonight game note is interresting :
STACKED WITH ALL-STARS: San Antonio enters the 2009-10 season with six former NBA All-Stars on their opening day roster – the most of any team in the NBA. Three teams in the Eastern Conference teams (Cleveland, Boston and Orlando) have four players who have been All-Star selections on their opening day roster. The Dallas Mavericks are second in the West with four players and five teams in (Phoenix, Utah, Los Angeles Lakers, Denver, New Orleans) have three former All-Stars.
PLAYER SELECTIONS/YEAR TEAM
Antonio McDyess (2001) Denver Nuggets
Theo Ratliff (2001) Philadelphia 76ers
Manu Ginobili (2005) San Antonio Spurs
Michael Finley (2000, 2001) Dallas Mavericks
Tony Parker (2006, 2007, 2009) San Antonio Spurs
Tim Duncan (1998, 2000-2009) San Antonio Spurs

Dice, Rattlif and Fin were all-stars like 200 years ago
A misleading thread le. Should read former all stars because most won't ever make an all star game again.
Well, 2001 to precise. All of them.
I thought once an all-star always an all-star, kind of like once a champion, etc.
That means slow motion Fatcus is still an AllStar...LOL LOL LOL![]()
How has RJ never made an all-star team?
Hmm...I wouldnt say stacked....
I was tyhinking the same.
umm...tyhinking is kind of like thinking.
a misleading thread le copied from a misleading paragraphe le on nba.com :

There were/are too many good players out west. I sometimes wonder how much winning a gold medal against Team USA came into play with Manu's one time AS appearance when the coaches voted for him.How has RJ never made an all-star team?
I'm surprised that RJ isn't mentioned.
Not much, 'cause if having won a gold medal helps you to get into the all-star game he wouldn't have been snubbed like he was in 07-08.
RJ could have easily been an all-star when he was in Jersey. but he was overshadowed by Vince Carter and Jason Kidd.
RJ played forward in the East.
KG, Bosh, LeBron, Vince Carter, Danny Granger, Paul Pierce snagged all the spots.
Not much different from Derron Williams still waiting to be an All Star
Becoming an All-Star is no small feat. Even a player who was a past All-Star player is probably still better than 60% of the NBA at their position/skill.
