I was watching Wizards@Pacers game from last night and Hansbrough ended his first NBA game with a respectable 13/5 and an assist in 14 minutes, after being out for the entire off-season with a stress fracture. More importantly, he went to the line 10 times, so he basically shoot a FT every minute he was on the floor.
So, what's up? No ACC refs any more. He isn't a man amongst boys any more. But he still draws fouls at will. Are people ready to concede it wasn't a bad draft selection from Bird at all?

Well, it's only his first game, so it's difficult to say whether he'll be a force in the NBA or not.

People just hate him because he's black.
In the long term, I think he's going to be a good 3rd big, with good scoring, average defence and bad rebounding, in due time.
It's always good to see someone everyone wrote off succeed. I hope he can keep it up.
