So I went browsing today for the many "Early Black Friday" sales....
and there's quite a lot of stores with discounts... especially in the electronics.
This is the perfect time to get an LCD TV, but DAMN...
There's too many to choose from... What do you recommend?
I'm looking for a 42-46 inch LCD for a decent price.
What are ya'll getting ? I'm looking forward to it more than Thanksgiving.

They were doing a lot of "one day sales".
Some stores said that if the item was cheaper on black Friday that they'd give you the difference.
This topic could deliver if it goes in the right direction.
I've read that no one is going to be blown away by BF sales this year. Everything is already so low, people shouldn't expect much in terms of rock bottom deals.
you forgot these are the people who think shopping at the outlet malls saves them moneypeople shouldn't expect much in terms of rock bottom deals
How much have the iphones gone down in price?

Most of the name brands are pretty decent these days with the possible exception of LG. If you're going to get something that big, don't skimp -- get at least a 1080p, 120hz model to cut down on the motion blur.
I'm seeing my psychoitrist on that day. I see bad things happening.
Hope this helps

Yeah I've been looking and Sony and Samsung so far have wowed me.
I saw a cheap Sceptre TV that wowed me as well but after reading a lot of reviews I noticed that it can be deceiving since they started to fall apart after a certain time.
I could just buy a 32" right now but I don't even know if it's big enough for me.
I still can't believe people wait hours outside in usually cold weather to buy crap they don't need.
Good choices.
That's ok for a small living room or the bedroom (though lots of people go for bigger screens in there -- not a fan). For 32s I don't care too much about the 1080p or 120hz unless you are going to be pretty close to it like using it as a computer monitor, etc -- and I'd even take a flyer on something like the Insignia (not Dynex) store brand from BestBuy if they really blow them out on Black Friday. There's a lot less need to be picky in that range.I saw a cheap Sceptre TV that wowed me as well but after reading a lot of reviews I noticed that it can be deceiving since they started to fall apart after a certain time.

Ive got a 32" 720p and the motion blur bugs the out of me. It almost makes the HD not even worth it.
I agree on at least getting the 1080p with at least 120
The Pavlovian consumers are already salivating.
