yes, it's true. I just don't see them going too far especially the way everyone else is playing now.
It is a long season. I remember when the Mavs had that 6 game losing streak in the beginning of their season and then lit it up. With this many main pieces that are new to the system, this is bound to happen. I still feel this is the most talented team I have seen since but that doesn't win games. However in playoff series, they are good to go. All they have to do is get an 8 spot and they are golden. Duncan needs to rebound if he's the only big on the floor though.

When teams start going down because of age issues, fans start indulging in magical thinking. There's talk about "rounding into mid/late season form," "just working off the rust," and dim hopes that the superstar players will revert to younger playing forms and health.
This was certainly the case with Houston and Hakeem, and now we're seeing it with Manu and Duncan.
