    Come on TPark....

We are talking about Pop being coach here.

Eventually I hope for it to get to that, but for now?.....

In fact, I dont see that happening at all until the 4th in most games.

I think your right, but I also think that he isn't that big of a factor yet and I think him coming in with the second team... not necessarily less minutes.... will help him acclimate faster with the team.

    Me? no.

    Pop?.........

and like I said, I think doing it for the time being would get him acclimated and comfortable.... Ease him into a starting position closer or after the all-star game. He is obviously much more nervous starting, at least to me.

He just seems much more comfortable playing with Manu's type of game.

    PG Parker
    SG Bogans
    SF Jefferson
    PF McDyess
    C Duncan

    1. Manu
    2. Hill
    3. Bonner
    4. Blair
    5. Hairston
    6. Ratliff
    7. Mason or Finley

This would be my ideal lineup, although it will never happen..

Bonner/Blair wouldn't work together off the bench, so minutes and starting spots would have to be managed depending on the opposing big men on the floor..

I'm just extremely tired of seeing Mason and Finley on the floor together..

All Im saying is, at this point in time, RJ seems much more effective with his game when he is complimented by Manu. To me, when he is in the starting lineup, he is timid and not agressive enough because, and this is my opinion, he feels obligated to make sure not to step on the toes of Tim and Tony. Look how he played when they sat out tonight.

when I see him play with Manu, he seems more loose. Manu and him are the "elite" players on the court at that time and I feel that actually takes some pressure off in RJ's mind knowing he HAS to be in attack mode. Thats how he thrived with his previous team. We need to slowly bring him down to get what we want. We cant expect him to change back to the defensive player he used to be over night.

I like the Ratliff start. Bring a defensive presence off the bat
Our second unit just got strong by building a better chemistry.

for now HILL, BOGAN, RATLIFF, JEFFERSON, BLAIR

later PARKER, BOGAN, RATLIFF, JEFFERSON, DUNCAN

I started calling out Mason Jr. around late January last season.

It's not the swtich to PG that has caused his struggles. His lack of D has been the start of it and then the PG play also has hurt his game. If he can't play any D though he can't be out there.
