Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has signed free agent guard Earl Boykins and waived C/F Paul Davis. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released. “Earl is a proven veteran point guard who will provide us with leadership and stability off of the bench,” said Grunfeld.

Nice! One of my fondest sports memories is of Lil' Earl ting all over Duke in the 1996 NCAA Tournament. Straight baller at 5'4".

Cool. I missed seeing little Boykins playing in the NBA. I actually think he's pretty good. Good pickup for Washington.
