& we had been able to draft him as badly as Pop & RC wanted to, even trying to aquire him after the draft from the Nets to no avail!
We wouldn't have had Speedy Claxton, which throws the whole 2003 le up into the air. The pick we traded to PHI would have been the one we would have had to use on Kristic.
I kind of like that other dude, too. In the Cleveland games I've watched, Varajao has provided a lot of energy off the bench, and has good size, too.
Varajao is a madman. Shoots about 35% from the FT line, so he'd be a good Spur.

Krstic is good, but he's more a 4 than a 5, and we have one of those. Also, his D needs work. And if it would have cost us Speedy, no! I loved watching him in a Spurs uniform, and he always sparked the game when Parker was off.
