    Awesome photo, but what's crazy about it is that those guys were Army. I was tripping out about the difference in both their physiques and equipment, compared to that of the Marines. Those 3 guys were fighting in sandals, running shoes and pair of Merrells.


    I thought the one with the Afghan girl pulling the cow was one the better photos, as well as the one of the kids in snowy Kabul.

    The Marine with the ripped shirt was just a badass mother er; I'd hate to be in the crosshairs of that dude's scope.

    That is the rear sight aperture and is necessary so he can quick change it out in case his scope breaks. Lots of soldiers/Marines carry them on the sides or the bottom for quick access.

    Yeah there was a definite difference in the way the Army guys looked than the Marines, the Marines just look sharper all around
