Just to give my whole .02 on the immigration thing:
1. I don't know why everyone acts like Mexicans are some exotic people. They're Mexican, it's not like they just showed up. Kind of stupid to get all up in arms about it.
2. The porous border however is a problem beyond illegal immigration, not just the Mexican border, but the Canadian border.
3. If the people that work the immirgant level jobs don't think there are plenty of immigrants all over the world that would absolutely love to work those jobs, they are only fooling themselves. No one starts at the top. It's not a racial thing really, it just gets easily made into one.
The one thing I do not understand, any Mexican immigrant that likes big Federal Governments and Nationalizing things. Of just about any immigrant coming to this country, I understand that mindset least from Mexican immigrants.
The only thing I can conclude is they think somehow they ing this country up as badly as Mexico is ed will somehow get rid of the white people, which is ironic on a variety of levels.
Main one being, they can't even get rid of the white people in Mexico, all that will happen is that we will all have nowhere else to go to get even a ty American job.
Besides, rich white people like 2 class societies more than anyone, Democrat and Republican alike, the only difference is that the Republicans don't bother lying about it.
I just don't get anyone coming from Mexico liking large federal(left leaning) governments that like to nationalize things....
Because you see Mexico is ed up for one reason...it's large totally corrupt federal(left leaning) government that controls all it's resources. That is exactly what creates the situation of Mexico being a very wealthy country in terms of resources with a economy.
I just think it's funny that massive federal government that has nationalized stuff has created a two class society...and not quite a socialist utopia if you get my drift.
It's funny how it's much better to be rich in that country with a strong federal(left leaning) government and nationalized resources than it is in the USA.
And it's much better to be poor in mean ole racist greedy capitalist USA than it is in Mexico.
IOW I say this...I thinik it's ok for any immigrants to come here that want to bring their religion, their culture, their cuisine etc...but they need to leave their governments behind, and if their religion is their government, they need to reform that part of it.
