    i use to wear a livestrong band because i was in support of the cause, and it was in awareness of cancer.

    Now people wear them as a in fashion accesory so i stopped wearing it.


    I have bought a pink one, in support of Breast Cancer (my grandmother is recovering from it)
    and a camaflouged one, that i bought wich donated the proceeds to family's with people overseas in the millitary.

    Not all of them are for charity. My kids bought some at Walgreen's. They were selling them because these bands are the 'in' thing right now.

    I have a Silver one for the Spurs. I don't know if it's the same one but at one of the games a few weeks ago the Club200 people that had their Club200 shirts on received a band.

    My sister got me 2 of the black ones, one of which I gave to a friend. When he opened it we notcied that it was missing the Spurs imprint. So basically my sis paid $1 for a black rubberband.

    About 5 years ago we were wearing those in high school. All of us baseball players started making them ourselves out of real baseballs and fishing hooks.It caught on around school and a lot of people began to wear them.
