It was the worst thing I've ever eaten, but I had to get it because I thought it was so funny that they had steak at the dollar store.

I'm surprised people on here don't mind admitting they shop at dollar stores.

Oh yeah I go all the time.
This last Halloween I bought a puck style LED light (It has three LED's in it) and I put it in my sons Halloween costume.
I also regularly buy their equivalent of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, I don't know what I'd do without them and two for a dollar is a lot better than two for three dollars and change.
There are a few other things I regularly buy from there.
Richers are the ones that shop at the dollar store, how do you think they become and stay rich? By not wasting their money.
That's an exaggeration but I have a friend that works at Marshalls and I see ladies driving all of the nicest cars and shopping there.
what's wrong with dollar stores? Just because you want the more fancy packaging and appearance on the product. Most dollar stores have the big brands and you can get some great deals.
That's great if you have money but F*ck the elitists who won't step into one because of image or insecurity reasons, FOH!

I wouldn't buy steak from the dollar store, though.

I actually buy them there too. I only buy Hallmark for people I really like, such as my Dad.
I may go a dollar for people close to me. Everyone else - .50 limit.
I can't see paying $5 for a stupid card.
I like to twist it to make myself look good in my own eyes though. So let's say I don't want to spend more than 20.00 on a gift, if I spend 3.50 on a Hallmark card you're only getting 15.00, so I'd rather give you a .50 card and fill it with 20.00.

So, which dollar store do you shop at? I dont' think steak is sold at the dollar store I go to.
LeBomb guessed it right, I mostly go to the Dollar Tree, but I also go to another one that was supposed to close but never did, and wound up opening more locations.
I can't think of the name now but there's one off of Walzem. They also opened a new one off Vance Jackson I believe.
I go into Dollar stores all the time for quick things. I like to use The Works for bathroom cleanups. I also get my lighters there too. I like the Dollar Tree but also go to Dollar General and since Family Dollar is the closest I go in there too.
No kidding, Dollar Tree pregnancy tests are just as accurate as First Response, and sometimes even more sensitive. Their ovulation tests are waaaaaaay better than First Response and as sensitive as ClearBlue Easy Digital.
And only a dollar a piece.
Some people may wonder why that matters, but I've taken probably 100+ pregnancy tests over the last 18 months and I can buy 10-15 tests at the Dollar Tree for the same price as 3 First Response Early Response. Granted, I'm an early tester (but I've also gotten positives at 9-11 dpo with each pregnancy) but still.
However, I wouldn't rely on dollar store condoms unless you plan to later try the dollar store pregnancy tests.
Personally I don't like the so called dollar stores that charge more than a dollar for anything.
That's why I only go to places like Dollar Tree that don't charge more than a dollar for pretty much everything.
I go to the Family Dollar on St. Mary's. Best customer service ever! Those girls working there are the best.

I always wanted to start a website, or a blog or something where you put cool together based on items solely purchased from the dollar store, I think if you were a lot more creative than I am you could come up with some pretty cool on the super, super cheap.

Yeah, theres just something wrong with buying condoms made in China considering they have like 2 billion people.
Um, Family Dollar sells name brand condoms.
