Manu looks OK but he takes alot of time to get his groove back. So right now he may have a really good game only to follow that with some mediocre ones. He will be up and down for the next 4 weeks or so. IMHO

His numbers won't be up this season. Too many weapons off the bench for Spurs.

i'd have to agree with alchemist. the Spurs are so deep unless we score 115+ per game his numbers will be down. doesnt M ellis start, if this was fantasy id go with ellis, who gets plenty of FGA's. Manu will most likely see his numbers go up in the playoffs against the Fakers and so on

If you're looking for stats, Monta is a safer bet, I think.

Good point and seeing how Pop is monitoring his minutes as well as those of TD's then he will most likely have an off year statwise. But later in the year he will get his minutes to get him in a groove for the playoffs. That to me is the important point - getting him ready for the playoff run. A fresh/well rested Manu is essential to the Spurs chances in the POs.

Those weapons on the bench should help make this happen.

Stick with Monta. Manu will play well enough but I doubt he'll ever be 100% again.
