Tim Duncan is third on the PER list for this season; effectively second because Chris Paul stands injured for some weeks and is expected to stay on the sideline for a few more.

Dejuan Blair is fourth on the Rookies' list and is not far behind the 2nd and 3rd on the list - PGs Darren Collison and Ty Lawson (of Hornets and Nuggets respectively).

Manu's injury ridden season notwithstanding, he has managed to be as good as fourth on the list of shooting guards, surpassed only by Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade (Kevin Martin merely played 5 games).

These performances are not surprising, but there has been a fall for Tony Parker and Richard Jefferson since last year, while Matt Bonner (17.59) has managed a significant up in his PER.

Don't. I remember when the guys doing it were doing it for free on their own site. Then, ESPN bought them, and wanted to monetize it. I decided not to continue reading, because it was really just stuff compiled from other sources. There's no original content. You'd be just as well served going to fannation and reading their truth and rumors section, and it's free.

Aah..for PER and other "advanced stats", one doesn't need ESPN Insider. www.basketball-reference.com is enough for the needful. Great site!. Has the best historical stats and box scores.
