I pick Bama too. I honestly don't care who wins this game, I think Texas will beat Nebraska and then slaughter whichever SEC team. If it's Florida, it'll be a double slaughter mostly to prove that Oklahoma didn't belong last year.

I was thinking which team Texas would match up better against (if they do as they should and put Nebraska away) and I was thinking Alabama. We had trouble with the running QB who could throw in Jerrod so I think Tebow could cause more problems. We're used to playing QBs like Mcelroy in the big 12.
Defensively neither of these teams has faced a QB who can run and throw as well as Colt - he's definitely a better, more accurate arm than Tebow. I'm just hoping the defense was tired against AM cause of the short week and they're rested, healed, and ready to dominate from here on out.
I agree Ive always thought that Tebow would present more of a problem to Texas, but Texas was burned a few times by the RBs in the Aggie game. I think Muschamp will get them ready for Ingram need to see what Auburn did except the choking part.
Ingram will get yards, but the Texas D will be much better when they don't have to worry about the QB running much.
Bama can't handle the crossing routes from Florida, Shipley would go for 250 against them if they can't handle the spread drag and crossing routes from Florida's receivers. Cooper doesn't have on Shipley.
So far neither team is showing to be a true juggernaut 2005 style. Both are very strong in areas and both have weaknesses in areas too.
Also if Texas plays Alabama Im scared of Arenas, If I remember correctly Texas got burned quite a few times in the A&M game. Would you kick to Arenas and rely on the special teams or kick it away from him?

You never kick to arenas. That would be an advantage for Bama for sure, our kick offs aren't as special as we'd like to see. Same thing on punts too.
Florida has this game. Bama playing lights out yet only up 6 thanks to that kicker missing an extra point. Gators O is getting it going. Bama is ed.
It does have that feeling but it depends on if Bama can adjust to the routes and get a stop coming out of halftime. It's not over at all, still a lot that could happen.
