This was obvious two weeks ago. (barring any upsets)
The BCS system doesn't pick the teams after 1 and 2. Each individual bowl does unless it guarantee's its bid to a conference winner.
I wanna see one of these teams roll the other one and have UT/Bama be a close game and have a split NT.

Well, remember last year when the same-type team, Utah, walloped Alabama? These two teams will probably put on a big show. The so-called mid majors have provided some of the more memorable performances, so perhaps thus Fiesta Bowl will be no different.

True. Perhaps familiarity will breed contempt and an exciting game. This major bowl season is short on legendary match-ups besides Alabama vs. Texas. I guess the Rose Bowl might provide fireworks. But we'll see what goes down...
You noticed despite Cincy barely winning yesterday they ended up #3 in the Bull Championship Standings. So even had Texas lost like they deserved to yesterday you wouldn't have had TCU playing for the national championship.

yeah this sucks hard core, I was looking forward to seeing TCU beat some AQ conference Champ, GT I guess, and seeing a good game between BSU ans Iowa. dammit that would have been a good matchup
