Tony Parker is the worst passer/playmaker out of all the elite point guards. By far.
Usually he scores at a fantastic rate and runs an efficient PnR with Duncan. But lately his scoring has seemed erratic. And since he can't pass for that makes him near worthless. Deron was making him look like a scrub tonight.
The Spurs are finally old (people been saying so forever, but now they're paying for it). They need to rebuild around Duncan and Parker unless a really good deal comes by then rebuild and keep Parker.
Same ship as the suns, but at least the spurs got a bunch of les. Suns are even in worse shape though since Nash is really old so they essentially have to rebuild around Amare if he chooses to stay, perhaps keeping Richardson.
Still early though. If the Spurs are still struggling like this into mid February and don't come out of their Rodeo road trip with some big wins then by all means press the panic button. They still have a solid month and a half to get their act straight.
The Panic Button should have already been pressed. The Spurs Suck. No amount of time will change that. They will be able to beat the lower ranked teams but will never get to the level of the elites.

Just that they were really hyped pre-season for having one of if not the best off season player movements even more so than the Lakers much less the WC.
The purist in me tells me that on paper there are really not a bad squad and should be making a lot more noise than they are.
