I'll still believe under THOSE conditions.
post here if you still beleive the Spurs can win a championship this year... Your name will be forever engraved in history.
But of course, grasshopper needs to learn how to walk before he runs. Post here if you still beleive Spurs will finish December off and still be within striking distance of #1 or #2 in the South West.
I think the Spurs need to go back to basics. In the following way:
- Pop needs to go back to what made him succesful, and that is control the team's play with a TIGHT leash
- Parker needs to go back and play with that very tight leash he has won 3 championships with. giving Parker the reigns. that obviously has failed.
- Duncan, Blair, Hill and Bonner don't have to change a thing. they are all having monster seasons
- Manu just needs to pretend he just came over from Europe and just wants to win some minutes, not carry the team
- RJ needs to NOT think when he is on the floor. When he thinks, he makes mistakes. He is the kinda player that needs to just trust his insctincts
- Dyess needs to pretend he is back in the Pistons and play the exact same way
- Mason needs to put the team ahead of him and let Pop know to give Hairston a try over him AND not to play him ever at PG
- all the players need to confront Pop and tell him that he needs to go back to basics, to the oldschool SPUR BALL. DEFENSE. Spurs need to strive to be #1 defensive team, anything else, spells failure.

I believe in this team every year until they clean out their lockers for the summer. Win, lose, or ugly, I'm a Spurs fan.

pretty sure being a "fan" does not require you to blindly believe your team will win it all, I'm sure NJ has hundreds of thousands of fans, and I doubt very many of them "believe" right about now

these last 3 games we have lost have came down to the last minute or so. its not like were getting blown out
all the way in!
We have enough talent to win it all. As long as we get a seed, we can still do it. Except for the lakers, we have the best advantage of out playing teams in series. We adjust better than anyother team. However Bonner cannot take the last shot! Ever!
i dont care what any experts or fans say but im sticking to my team no matter what, unlike these laker fans. trust me i know i live here in L.A.

Believe goes beyond the numbers. It goes beyond the boxscore, and scoreboard, and win-loss column. Doesn't matter to me if the Spurs are 20-0 or 0-20.

I believe! I know in other threads i said bad stuff but that was my emotions and ranting so it should not be taken seriously. I believe the Spurs can do it. We didnt get all this talent for nothing.
