Threw in a vote. Thanks for the reminder. Its too easy to just assume that TD is going to be there, just like every other season.

Dallas is putting up huge numbers for their players, I don't see Timmy starting this year with Melo having a terrific year.
Anthony and Nowitzki deserve it so far... not that I'm going to quit voting for Timmy!

For whatever reason, Dirk doesn't get first voted into All-Star Starter very often (I think 2007 was the only time). But he has been voted 1st team all-NBA 4 out of the last 5 years.
The reason is simple: The All-NBA team is not voted by the fans. Additionally, in 2007 he started only due to the injury of Yao Ming and Duncan switched to Center in the starting lineup.

Duncan doesn't really play anymore in All-Star games anyways, he's better off as a reserve..

Since the Rockets Organization doesn't want it, the all-star game could be his first game of the season. That would be nice. Let's vote for him!
Melo has 1 starting forward spot locked up. Duncan won't beat out Dirk/Pau for the 2nd starting spot.
He shoulda been on the Center ballot, then it would have been an easy win against Amare/Bynum.
I hope Duncan plays no more than 2-3 minutes if he makes the game TBH..
