Is it okay to bring Hot Pockets as hors d'oeuvres and Pop Tarts as a dessert item? I'm going to cut the HP up into tiny bite-size squares and put festive toothpicks on them.

I got 12 Brown Sugar, 12 Strawberry w/o icing and 8 strawberry with icing. I've got this silver to go tray and I'm going to heat the hot pocket bites in the microwave before the luncheon begins. The thing about pop tarts though is that you can eat them cold.

I hate the "forced camaraderie" for potluck luncheons at work, so Hot Pockets and Pop Tarts is my silent protest. I was going to bring Chocolate Angel Food Cake from Central Market, but then I thought "Why should I share something awesome with people I don't like?"
At least toast the pop tarts beforehand!

I hate how the people who never bring to potlucks always eat the most or the ones that act like they haven't eaten in years and think that the food is going to disappear within 15 seconds.
