So far the Niners took Alex Smith and Miami took Ronnie Brown
And here is my mock...
I am assuming no trades, but I expect both SF, MIA, CLE, and Dallas all to try to move down with Washington and Philly trying to move up
1. SF - Alex Smith, QB
2. MIA - Ronnie Brown, RB
3. CLE - Demarcus Ware, DE/OLB (surprise pick of the day!)
4. CHI - Braylon Edwards, WR
5. TB - Carnell Williams, RB
6. TEN - Antrelle Rolle, CB
7. MIN - Troy Williamson, WR
8. ARI - Aaron Rodgers, QB
9. WAS - Carlos Rogers, CB
10. DET - Derrick Johnson, LB
11. DAL - Shawne Merriman, DE/OLB
12. SD - Marcus Spears, DE
13. HOU - Alex Barron, OT
14. CAR - Cedric Benson, RB
15. KC - Pac-Man Jones, CB
16. NO - Thomas Davis, SS/OLB (I think he moves to OLB for the Saints)
17. CIN - Erasmus James, DE
18. MIN - David Pollack, DE
19. STL - Jamaal Brown, OT
20. DAL - Mike Williams, WR (falls inexplicably)
21. JAX - Marlin Jackson, CB
22. BAL - Mark Clayton, WR
23. SEA - Elton Brown, OG
24. GB - Charlie Frye, QB
25. WAS - Jason Campbell, QB (Skins reach, what else is new)
26. OAK - Fabian Washington, CB
27. ATL - Bodney Poole, FS
28. SD - Roddy White, WR
29. IND - Travis Johnson, DT
30. PIT - Heath Miller, TE
31. PHI - Matt Jones, WR/TE
32. NE - Dan Cody, OLB/DE
Don't be suprised if Philly trades up for Elton Brown or Mark Clayton.
Also, don't be suprised if Travis Henry is an Eagle by the end of the day.
also be not suprised if the owens es he is broke again today

The Niners are on the clock, as they have been since January. The Skins don’t have the ammo to trade all the way up to #1 even assuming that the 49ers really are in a frame of mind to deal it. They’re fielding calls from every team, we’re being told breathlessly by Sal Palantonio. That hardly qualifies as “man bites dog” news. What team at #1 doesn’t field calls in the minutes leading up to the pick?
Looking for last-second clues as to what might happen, turn to the major DC daily papers. The Post article, by Jason La Canfora, is all about trading up. The Times article, by David Elfin, mentions the possibility but focuses on other scenarios.
Now, given the recent animosity that has existed between the Post and the Redskins organization, which one do you think is getting better information?

This is the key moment here. A trade for Edwards either happens here or it doesn’t happen at all. If Miami doesn’t trade the pick, they’ll probably take Edwards. Even if they pass on Edwards, Cleveland won’t. StatCounter - Free Web Tracker and Counter
Skins Draft Target: Justin Tuck Premium Story

If you're not inhaling the draft smokescreens the Redskins are putting out, you might believe that they would consider taking a defensive end in first round on Saturday. We've looked at a few of the more prominent ones here lately; now let's take a look at a dark horse for the #25 selection.
first off, it looks as if a trade involving Buffalo Bills running back Travis Henry is a certainty. But he may end up landing with the Philadelphia Eagles, who are dangling a third-round pick.
He still looked higher than a kite... he couldn't wait to get to the back room and munch on those snacks.
Exactly what I was thinking.
"I wanted to make a new start". Yeah right. He just didn't want to be compared to Ricky.
scott. Do you really see Mike Williams falling that far? That won't happen. I hope it does though. Philly would most likely trade up to 20 and get him.
I don't think it will happen, but if it does...GO EAGLES!!
1 SF Alex Smith * (QB)
2 Mia Ronnie Brown * (RB)
3 Cle Braylon Edwards * (WR)
4 Chi Cedric Benson * (RB)
5 TB Carnell Williams * (RB)
6 Ten Adam Jones * (CB)
One thing that may have played a difference for Tennessee is Pacman Jones' ability to return punts and kicks. Antrel Rolle shouldn't slip past Arizona at the eighth pic
Pacman Jones to Tennessee at the sixth pick is definitely a slight surprise. Most teams felt Antrel Rolle's playmaking ability had moved him ahead of Jones as the No. 1 cornerback
Here comes Arizona. If they select a RB, it most likely means that their dealings with Travis Henry fell through.
Well, nevermind. All the good RB's are gone. They'd be reaching for one now.
