vs.
Should be an easy win for the spurs, although bobcats have had some luck with contending teams for some reason lol
jax going to win this for the cats
According to some of the posters here, the Spurs aren't contenders anymore. So Spurs should win easily.
Please note the sarcasm.
The Cats are a dangerous team, the Spurs should be careful. They have Tyson Chandler to guard Tim Duncan, and no one can seem to handle Boris Diaw on our team (let's hope Pop doesn't put Finley on him).
And who's going to stop Gerald Wallace. If we can limit Wallace's productivity, we have a great chance of winning.
Finley is injured.
I expect this to be an ugly game. Bobcats have been playing solid defense, and so far that's made our offense looks pretty damn inneffective at times.
It's one thing to put up 120 against the Kings. Let's see if we can get into a groove against a team that's actually attempting to stop such a thing.
chandler always plays good D on duncan
Looking forward to this one. The 'Cats have been playing well as of late and I want to see how this team is progressing. Will we see more improvement or will they take a step back as they have done at times this season. I want to see if TP continues to get RJ involved early on rather than looking for his shot first. Manu still needs time to get into his groove. And how is our D going tto stand up to Wallace, SJax and Co.?
Still a Work In Progress. Hopefully another step forward for the Spurs tonight.
And give up 106
Real battle of note for the ST crowd...Jax vs. RJ. Expect a lot of woulda-coulda-shoulda threads after this one.
That said, I think RJ throws in another 20+. Spurs by 7.
Matt Bonner is getting ready for that !
What's the over/under on threads made during/after the game about how great Stephen Jackson is?
I'll say 12.
This should be a very tough match up for the Spurs. Spurs have to find a way to keep Wallace off of the boards and they have to force this Bobcat team into shooting a lot of jumpers.
Boris Diaw is a guy who always gives the Spurs trouble. It will be very interesting to see who starts out on Jax/Wallace/Boris. That is a difficult match up for the Spurs. Spurs, if they take care of and move the ball, should get good looks inside and out. Spurs will get into to a lot of trouble if the ball sticks and they try and force things on the perimeter. The Cats perimeter defense is pretty solid.
if the Spurs lose and Jackson has a big game, there's going to be the biggest meltdown we've seen in a long time..even for ST..
Go Spurs Go!!!!!!!!!!!
ugh the bobcats
revenge for the West!
Who cares about Jax? If the Cats win, I am starting a Gerald Wallace thread instead. Jax is not the best player on the Cats, Crash is.
i was watching the bogans interview, and noticed RJ was missing FTs like crazy lol anywayz i am out for now see you guys in an 1 hour !!!
You really don't know why I made that comment?..
I know why you made that comment. But Jax was not the answer to the Cats' problems nor the Spurs. But ya, people still gonna keep crying about it.
i am now convinced that you have watched very few games with the 2; duncan has always owned chandler when healthy. the only reason timmy's scoring average was low vs. NO 2008 is due to illness + NO double-teaming the crap out of him, so he always had to pass the ball.
even NO former coach said chandler's D sucked on timmy, which i'm sure was part of the reason for shipping him to the bobcats.
