I really liked parts of it ALOT but Obama has proven to be a liar so I don't take anything he says serious anymore. I really don't think most people do.
Has someone already posted this? If so, I apologize. I just read the whole thing through and it sounded like it hit a right note, in the main. It was appropriately humble, strong in its defense of American's position and actions in the world since WWII, and a bitmore 'real world' than some of the naive positions he has taken of late. In the main, I thought he acquitted himself well and did America proud.

It was a good speech.
Obama does a great job speaking from both sides of the mouth.
Speaking of healthcare
Atleast we agree he is a liar.
when obama speaks people get mad. whats new
Obama gave a warlike speech at the Nobel Peace award ceremony. Apparently, Obama talking tuff is enough to take in the gullible, spongiform intelligence of board moderates and conservatives.
Time to wring out the sponge and change the water in the mop bucket: it's stale.

Obama would have scored major points if he refused the the Nobel peace prize by saying until every American soldier is back home I cannot accept this award.
Do they give out perfect attendance awards in school if you missed 10 days?
Does the battered woman's shelter ask Chris Brown to MC their telethon?
why does this world insist on putting a square peg in a round hole?

I thought about asking who you were and what you had done with the 'Poster formerly known as Winehole' who was occasionally sardonic, though usually insightful. consistently thoughtful, and rarely, if ever, mean-spirited. You clearly must be someone else because never before has WH consistently self-referred in the third person, as has been a recent phonemenon in the "new WH" posts.
After the 12th inane pic in a row, however, I just want you to get back on your meds, whoever you are.
Obama is what democrats used to call "a dangerous, crazy, neocon". Like Bush before him and Clinton before Bush and so one with a couple of notable exceptions (Reagan in a way; Nixon and Carter in a different one), he said one thing before being elected and another one after being in the office.
Maybe, to paraphrase Jean-François Revel, "the facts are neocons".

Yep.
Maybe not. The USA has hardly won in Iraq and Afghanistan yet.
