PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Juan Fernandez squashed No. 3 Villanova’s reign as the best team in the city one 3-pointer at a time.
His early 3s kept Temple close, his first one of the second half gave the Owls the lead, and his big ones late in the game helped clinched their biggest regular-season victory in nearly 10 years. By the time Temple fans bellowed “Overrated!” and stormed the court, Villanova’s perfect record and city dominance were finished.
Fernandez hit seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 33 points and Ryan Brooks added 20 points in Temple’s 75-65 victory over the Wildcats on Sunday.

Any draft information on him?
Spurs might want to keep an eye on Omri Casspi, his game reminds me a bit of Manu.
Omri Casspi is ing awesome. I would do anything for the Spurs to have him.
He needs a name that isn't so jokily generic.
a mix; manu and pepe sanchez
Only if he has a bald spot and can slap bats with his bare hands..
Any fans of Manu's style of play need to check out Dogus Balbay on the longhorns basketball team. He has nothing resembling a jump shot, but other than that I have never seen a play so closely resemble Manu. In fact, I'm willing to be he's modeled alot of his dribble moves, finishing, and passing techniques after Manu. Also the guy can flat out lock people down.
Even the announcers on espn started to say he looks like a little Manu out there.
What makes you think the next Manu will come from Argentina? He could be an American, or French.
^french are not crazy enough to be the next manu...![]()
If Argentina ever produces another player of Ginobili's caliber he will be the next Manu, even if he's 7'6''.
Manu is from Argentina, to be the Next Manu the player must to born in Argentina
Because Manu won a Gold medal, a Bronze, an lot of trophys for a nation who never won a Olympic medal in Basket
So the next Jordan could be from Argentina?
cool![]()
lmao^
there will never be another manu, he is so unique
NEWARK, N.J. (AP)—Ryan Brooks scored 24 points, including a clutch driving shot with 1:32 left, and Juan Fernandez added 21, leading Temple to a 71-65 victory over Seton Hall on Saturday night.
