Not really, just looks like Parker and a bunch of mediocre players. Especially when you compare them to Spain/USA.
Was looking through some rosters for this new world championship in turkey and damn the french team is quite stacked:
tony parker, diaw, pietrus, batum, turiaf, noah(?), ian mihinmi.
They got scoring, penetration, rebounding and interior d, and lockdown defenders on the perimeter, very balanced (i suppose they got shooters cause they're euros for love's sake) Could challenge for a playoff spot in the east.
Very curios if some user form france can give some insight into how this team plays and why barely any medals .. are they to nba-is for euro ?

Besides Parker those are just average players. What do you expect? And no, that team would not make the playoffs.
Well, if complete, they have a pretty solid team. I think they could go far in the WC.
No playoffs. Lottery bound, looking for a top 10 pick.
John Wall would be on this team next year.
France finished 5th in the 2006 WC (behind usa, argentina, greece and spain) without parker, pietrus, noah, batum.
I think they can go far next summer.
They don't. Although I think Bruno said there are some young players who are good shooters.
On paper France has a good team but we never succeed in putting all these names together during a tournament
This 1-2 punch would put France over the top

Yes, that's also a problem. Too much athleticism, too little IQ. And they look more impressive to you because they have lots of players in the NBA, but a team like Greece is fairly superior on paper.
That said, they only lost a single game in the last Eurobasket. Unfortunately for them it was in the quarters-final and it was a 20 point loss to Spain.
