I was watching the stats on this game and Oak was up and C Frye had less than 100 yds passing...WTF. Bush and Mcfadden ran all over Denver.
Isn't this the 2nd year in a row we knocked Denver out of the playoffs at their house?
We aren't out of the playoffs at all, even if we don't deserve it..if we beat KC, the odds are that we actually will make it, as sad as that is..
This game was lost with McDaniels' horrible playcalling..1st and goal at the 2 yard line..a TD wins the game..obviously we couldn't get inside the end zone..it would have ended the game and wrapped up a playoff spot..one of the worst losses I've ever seen in my 10+ years of watching this team..
new players, new coaches, same results..every year since we were eliminated from the AFC le game..always the same ..
now we need to beat KC + Pittsburgh losing 1 out of their last 2 + Jacksonville losing 1 out of their last 2..
I thought the donkeys had the 1 seed for the wildcard race?
Raiders are an enigma....when their games have been broadcast in my area, they've looked beyond pathetic (Thanksgiving) and then they beat teams like the bengals, eagles, steelers, broncos.....well as for the broncos, I would also say this game says a lot about them as well.....

I love McDaniels calling the same play on 1st down every drive and running some complete garbage (that hasn't worked all season) in short situations.
Good win by the Raiders today. They're such an odd team to figure out. What is it - 5 wins on the season? Broncos, Steelers, Eagles, Cincinnati, KC? How does that happen?
Did they ever catch the jackass with the laser pointer?

He gets credit for getting them to this point when everyone (including you) thought they'd only win 2-3 games. I've never personally hailed the guy as any sort of genius. But looking at the other guys that interviewed - Morris, Spagnuolo, Garrett - I'm still glad they chose him over the others.
I'm starting to get annoyed with a number of decisions he's made. The sweeps with Moreno that were telegraphed from a mile away. Trying to run for 3rd and 1 with a power running game that's not suited for this offensive line. The loss of Eddie Royal and Tony Scheffler in the offense. Screens where the QB isn't in suitable position to sell the play. A number of the mistakes come down to execution, but the playcalling is baffling at times. And, most of all - not being able to convert from 1st and goal at the 2 and opting for the FG instead of forcing the Raiders to go 70+ yards for the tie instead of the gamewinner. There are some good pieces in place and the future still looks good, but they're looking like 1-and-done should they hold onto a playoff spot.
I can't count how many times I've yelled "what the !!?" at the TV over the course of this season.
This was embarrassing to say the least. This loss is on the coach and it probably cost us the playoffs.
I think we'll still make the playoffs TBH..we need Pittsburgh to lose to either Miami or Baltimore, Jacksonville to lose to New England, and the Jets to lose to either Cinci or Indy..I think all that will happen..hopefully we beat the Chiefs..
I think McDaniels is a good coach..he's a good motivator, game-planner(for the most part) and personnel guy, he's just really bad at playcalling..which is strange, considering that was his reputation before getting a HC job..
not like Denver fan would have you believe.
He's just trying to win a mutherf*ckin' game here!
