no other words to say besides sad. why were horry, robinson and barry on the bench for so long? at least they may make something. nuggets have held us to almost 20 mins scoreless at the ends of games on our home floor.

    Shoogar, you're a . You don't know . Pop has two rings[/tpark]

It's okay, Denver will send us on our way and the ing Popapologists will look past our anemic offense and blame it on Duncan being hurt and Barry and Udrih not doing anything.

We'll trade a few people, make a few free agent signings, and then do the same stupid on offense in the fourth and do it all again next year.

    This loss is on Pop...

    Our guys had zero confidence...

And we went 0-17 without a single change to the rotation and left Barry and Robinson sitting on the bench...

Was ing stupid...does no good to have those guys if you aren't going to give them an opportunity...was obvious the starters were cold.

    It's on Pop. 100%.

    0:27 Denver 20 Sec. Timeout.
0:27 Earl Boykins enters the game for DerMarr Johnson. 44-52
0:27 44-52 Beno Udrih enters the game for Tony Parker.
0:12 Andre Miller made 7 ft jumper. 46-52
0:07 46-52 Beno Udrih Lost Ball. Stolen by Marcus Camby.
0:05 Marcus Camby made layup. 48-52
0:05 48-52 Robert Horry Shooting Foul. His 2nd Personal Foul.
0:05 DerMarr Johnson enters the game for Earl Boykins. 48-52
0:05 48-52 Tony Parker enters the game for Beno Udrih.
0:05 Marcus Camby made Free Throw 1 of 1. 49-52
0:03 49-52 Manu Ginobili Offensive Foul. His 3rd Personal Foul.
    0:03 49-52 Manu Ginobili Turnover

    Duncan couldn't make .

    Parker couldn't defend.
Who left them out there dumb ? Do you think they did it to themselves?

Bowen hadn't hit a shot all ing game either...

Barry missed the game on account of a car accident on I 10.
Barry wasn't the guy that went 0-17, nor was he the guy that let the starters go 0-17 without a single subs ution.

This loss is on ing Pop 100000000000000000%.

    What should pop have done???

    Just curious...
Stopped running 4 ing down...put someone out there who actually attempts to find someone that is open rather than forcing up bad shots and making bad passes...

Don't ing blame the players...stop ing blaming the players...this has been happening to use since before anyone but Duncan was on the ing team...how hard is to figure out who the real cause is?

You have a great deep bench? Why not ing use it?

Were Bowen, Manu and Parker the problem when it happened to us in 2001?

    Figure it out...

    dcole,

The problem is people like you who hold up our regular season wins as proof of anything.

Unless you win in the playoffs, it doesn't matter. There's no trophies for regular season wins, no parades, no rings, no world championships.

About the only thing you can win an award for with a lot of regular season wins and no postseason les is being an underachiever.

Is this the worst the Spurs have shot for a quarter in the playoffs? It's got to be close, if not a record. The Spurs went 4-for-21 in the fourth.

You must not have been a Spurs fan very long.

In the last five years they've had multiple fourth quarters like this. I can even remember them doing the same back in the early 90s when they were losing to Run TMC.

I've been a Spurs fan pretty long AHF, I'm only 27 but I know my fair share of hoops knowledge.(including why the Spurs wanted to keep Wilks on the playoff roster to guard- Earl Boykins, not Andre Miller, as you stated in the game thread.)

Just thought I'd drop some knowledge for ya.. Ok, back to the topic.. Oh trust me I know we're notorious for blowing leads in the fourth, but I wanted to know the WORST fourth quarter in the history of the Spurs playoff opportunities. I figured that 4-21 would be pretty damn close to a record. So do you know?
