lol cheap bas s
Serge Ibaka: 23 minutes, 12 points, 75% shooting 7 rebounds (4 offensive), 1 block.
This up in particular is special because it is a up from multiple angles, the obvious angle being the fact OKC drafted Ibaka with a pick given to them by Phoenix just so OKC would take a contract (that was expiring), but also the fact OKC turned the 24th pick into a big who can contribute as is but has tons of upside, while in the same draft, all Kerr could do with the 15th pick was turn it into a player who's ceiling is Anderson Varejao but will most likely not have an NBA career beyond his rookie contract.
Thanks a lot Sarver for hiring your college drinking buddy so he could get face ed by Sam Presti when you could have hired Presti. Great in job.
lol cheap bas s
This particularily stings because it reminds you how hopeless the Suns are. Even if Sarver decided not to be cheap tomorrow, this demonstrates how horrible Kerr is at evaluating talent. The day we find out what possibly possessed Kerr to take Robin Blowpez, when every other GM knew he sucked, and when there were countless players with way more talent, is the day after we figure out whether or not god exists.
you little es got owned!!!
DUNCAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweetheart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pumpkinpuss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I missed ya...like a headache.
If he ever had a point in his life where he was good at basketball at all, it wouldn't bug me. What bugs me is that other than having a good brother, Lopez had never done anything or demonstrated anything that made him a first round pick. I've become a broken record but it's still mind boggling about how he could have possibly been taken there.
I thought tonight would signal a win simply because Lopez didn't play. Unfortunately, I was wrong. For a team that was closing well at the beginning of the year, they definitely can't right now.
Sarver was courtside, however, so I'm pretty sure his presence demoralized the team. The only reason I didn't go tonight was simply a desire to no longer put any cash in his pocket. Shouldn't he be broke now? Btw, glad to see the Thunder had enough cap room to waive two players and still get Eric Maynor.
Wonder if Kerr and Sarver could learn from that - perhaps it was the fact that OKC sold their highest priced assets (Ray Allen, Kurt Thomas, and the city of Seattle - low blow, sorry - I hate Schultz and Clayboy for the outright theft) instead of their moderately valuable low-cost ones (draft picks - you know, Robert, those intangible papers that let you know the order in which your team is "on the clock"). Robert, again, these were cheaper Marcus Banks and Boris Diaw, since a rookie payscale is in effect league-wide so all you cheap-ass owners can remain in collusion.
Remind me again how trading away Kurt Thomas's expiring contract also required 2 draft picks, while what the Suns got in return (a $6.5m trade exception) went unused and expired? This is what the Eller College of Mgmt Teaches? Were Janet Napolitano and Michael Crow both graduates because they sure have shown a similar prowess for cutting costs AND revenues.
Shouldn't Sarver be broke yet and need to unload the team to someone more competent?
I wonder when the PHX front office will realize that playing defense is a good thing in the NBA![]()
That move actually makes sense though from a certain perspective, it made Sarver richer and saved him money. It was a horrible basketball decision, but if I had to write an article about why he did it, I'd be able to write that article and give a logical explanation. If a final in a class I was taking required me to give a logical explanation as to why Steve Kerr picked Robin Lopez 15th overall, I'd fail the final. That simply made no sense, from any perspective.
fun > defense
I hope someone got DOK a vacuum for christmas to suck all the sand out of his vagina.
Lakers don't play defense. They simply have 3 athletic men over 6'10" on the floor who move their feet and jump over the back for rebounds. I guess it is the closest you can find to a "defensive frontcourt" in today's NBA.
It teaches you how to manage a business and do what's in the best interest of the business. In Sarver's case, he bought the Suns as an asset he could flip for a nice profit 10 years from when he bought it, his goal with the team is not a long term successful business, his goal is to use the team to make as much money as possible all the while not giving two s about the kind of shape it's in when he sells it.
that goran tragic guy looks like a keeper...
He sure did against the Spurs you in Manu > Dirk moron got.
Basically will take anyone who is a greedy asshole and show him how to be a better one on a larger scale. He should be keynote speaker for 10 years to come.
Forget anything about fans or the people, or even the children.
i was being serious , he looks like he could be a solid player.
Well then my bad, calling him Tragic gave me the wrong idea![]()

Sarver doesn't care about the fans, or anything basketball related, and never has. Him sitting court side with that in foam finger is just an image thing to try to show people he cares about the team. What he's doing with the Suns is no different than someone buying a house they have no intention of living in and then selling it several years later for a nice profit.
Robert Sarver is the epitome of why I stopped being a practicing Jew......I try to not associate with a group of people that is so full of pretentious, money grubbing, phony and slimy assholes.
I was really impressed with him against our bigs. He was pretty physical in there and really got after Pau.
The problem lies with the bulk of the season ticket fanbase IMO. The culture has been offense offense and more offense since i can remember.
The paying fanbase simply doesn't have the patience to build a team thru the draft and cheer for a defensively oriented team.
Thats what i believe and i'm ing tired of it. Tired of Steve Nash, tired of SSOL,tired of soft teams, tired of the volleyball-tip-drill rebounding method, tired of drafting and disgusted with the annual pathetic defense.
IMO it may never come. I'm a loyal fan.
RAMS for 30 years.
SUNS for 28 years.....i'm very close to kicking this team to the curb.
They made this bed,now they gotta lie in it.... 'em.
