These States Have High Hopes

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - December 28, 2009 -- Talk about your high hopes

There are atleast four states in the country that have introduced measures to legalize and regulate pot sales.

And there are two dozen other states that are atleast thinking about doing things like approving the use of pot for medical reasons or decriminalizing possession of small amounts of weed.

All of this is good news for the New York-based Drug Policy Allience, which supports the reform of marijuana laws.
