a sub-.300 team. I can't wait for january, when we play a few real teams.

Tim should absolutely beast in this game but Spurs should be careful against this kind of team, we can't take a win for granted.
does SpursTalk still do vbookie?
can't remember the last time I saw one
Another Crappy team so we should win of course.
Go Spurs! Let us continue the chemistry building and get a good win. 48 minutes of good play is the order of the day.
I want to see the guys win big so Timmy can get some rest.
ok lets get a quick and painless win, so we can get plenty of rest and opportunities for the bench. Also since Rambis employs the triangle offense (although terrible compared to the lakers), it might be a reasonable test for our defense rotations.
is minnesota the crappy team that beat some major teams?
Will the Spurs play down to the level of compe ion or are they close to where they need to be?
Will they crowd the shooters?
Will the interior D be there if we crowd the shooters on the perimeter?
Will TP have more than 5 assists?
Will Blair have a double double (5 rebounds from his onw missed shots)?
Will Hairston and Haislip see the floor if we lead by 20?
Will Pop play his SF at Center once we have a big lead just to make the game close?
First things first, you will be hard-pressed to find a shooter in Minnesota, aside from Wayne Ellington, who has not played any. The last thing we need is to leave Kevin Love open for three pointers. Love has 3 point range and got permission from Rambis to finally let loose this year.
Secondly, rebounding and transition defense. The reason why I placed both together is because of this guy, Kevin Love, again. When he catches the defensive rebound, which he is going to do tons of, the outlet pass has to be defended well. He is one of the best outlet passers in the league and with Jonny Flynn and the athletic players from the wing, the can score esily on a fast break opportunity.
Last but not least, Jonny Flynn has to be defended well. The speedy point guard can score and pass. Make him work on defense and defend the pick and roll well.
The Spurs, if covering all of these, will stop the Minnesota Timberwolves.
I'm interested to see how Blair looks against Love..
Should be a good match up, but Love is tough and has a lot of range.
Spurs should have a strong game offensively.
Joe Alexander: I just finished watching Michael Finley out shooting. It's the first time I've seen him doing anything since his injury.
Jeff McDonald: Finley isn't all that close to coming back yet.
Jeff McDonald: The fact that he's actually in the building is a positive baby step
Jeff McDonald: There really aren't minutes for Finley right now anyway, so there's not much to rush back to.
Here's hoping for a win. I'd like to see the guys put together a solid 48-minute effort and win this won fairly handily (as they should), but when it comes down to it, Ws are Ws.
The triangle offense looks so solid.
Richard Jefferson slam dunk!
