So?
WTF? DeJuan Blair was NOT 4-4 from the FT line. I clearly recall a pair of misses on one trip, and Heavy D had a lane violation on one of them, to boot.
I think he went 4 for 5, with the one miss being the lane violation. Not positive about the rule, but it may be that it simply counts as a "lane violation" and doesn't count as a free throw one way or another.
Anyway, I think he was fouled twice when he missed the shot (four free throws earned) and got an and-1 opportunity once, so a total of five free throws earned. IIRC, one of them hit high off the back of the rim and fell in during the 3rd quarter, so it's possible you thought it was a miss.
He didn't miss a pair tonight. He was 4/5 and the 5th was the lane violation and so it didn't count. The box score is correct.
OK. The lane violation is a turnover, not a miss. I still thought he missed another one, maybe in the first half. I withdraw my complaint.![]()
this guy has soft touch around the ring...almost gervin like....
has no acls, and moves around down low very quick with his feet positioning and head down bulldoze into the lane....if only he had a 40inch vertical he be unstoppable
If it's a lane violation they wave it off completely. He knocked down all the other ones
