They paid to have the guy put the ball in the basket. He hits his first shot in the game then they take him out. When everyone else is missing put in the one guy that was leading the Spurs in scoring at the end of regular season Popovich.
Agreed. Something along the lines of "anytime the Spurs go 3 minutes without a field goal, Robinson gets in the game, defensive sets be damned."
Just let him get in there and break the ice. He didn't have to finish the game. Let someone in the Black and Silver put one ball in and pull him back out if you need to, but I was under the impression that was what we brought him in for: with him on your team, how could you possibly go on a field goal drought?
i think they did not play him cuz denver was in total control of the game's flow and tempo in the fourth quarter...the half court offense was absent and denver had at least 17 consecutive fast break opportunities
if we had been able to step up and control the floor for a little while, im sure he would have been put in the game
