I believe they have the most difficult remaining schedule of all of the Wild Card contenders. That or second hardest. It's going to be tough.

    12 home, 15 away

    7 vs. Pittsburgh
    6 vs. St. Louis
    6 vs. Milwaukee
    3 vs. Cincinatti
    3 vs. SF

Then three @ home against Colorado to finish the season.

    That's not too bad.

But I think the Cubs have 3 more games against teams with a .500 record or better. They'd have to lose to some really bad teams to fall from the top.

against Pittsburgh they should go 5-2/

    St Louis 2-4

    Milwaukee 5-1

    Cincy 3-0

    SF 1-2 or 2-1

    3-0 against Colorado.

Looks like the Cardinals are gonna be spoilers to the Astros and Padres this year.
