Doesn't the coaches and/or the organization of the NBA teams decide who should be the subs for the ASG anyways?

Yes, but what he's saying is that if Tmac starts, then you got Roy, Nash, CP3 and DWill fighting for the sub spots (aka no room for parker). But if TMac doesn't start, obviously the coaches won't vote him in and there will be more spots. Either way, Tony ain't getting in though lol

I don't want Parker to make it..I'd rather he have a chip on his shoulder and have some motivation from not making it..

More reason why the coaches should pick the starting line-ups and teams, not the information starved chinese who have been voting Tmac probably still reading box scores from 2006.

Tony doesn't deserve to go this year, but everyone should just vote for Nash. He's worthy of starting, and knocking McGrady out of going is the right thing to do.

It would be really ridiculous if Tmac goes. Even though its a fan based voting, I think the NBA should take the matter in their own hands with situations like this. Its ridiculous.

TP doesn't deserve it this year, plus he needs the break.
    He'll get it next year.

true, even with Nash promoted to starting lineups there will still remain too many great guards for Tony Parker to earn a spot at asg subs ution.

If T-Mac continues dwelling comfortably in his sickbed he'll probably miss the asg even if voted it, which wouldn't differ much from voting Nash straightly to the asg starting 5. at least it's almost the same for Parker anyway since Tony is absolutely uncompe ive against anyone included in the radar like Paul, Roy, Durant, D-Will, Steve Nash etc...

I think it is funny the ASG is getting T-Mac in the voting. Its like when Yao was injured and still leading the pack last year. The system is broken, so this exposes it.
The couches can vote in who they truly think is an AS, so that balances it a bit.
As for voting for Nash, NO. He seems like a great guy and can dish balls like a juggler, but its the principle of the matter. We have two great All Star players in Tony and Manu and there is no way in , that I am voting for a no defense playing Phoenix Sun player.
