MLB has proven with the CUBS negotiations that they do NOT want Cuban in the league.
McLame has entered negotiations to sell the club, but if those talks fall through, I would imagine Cuban would have some interest, as reported on the radio today.

As a Spurs' fan, it would sicken me. As an Astros' fan, I'd be ecstatic. Maybe MLB doesn't want Cuban associated with a flagship franchise like the Cubs, but he couldn't do that much damage with Houston.
I am the same way. I know he would drop some cash and get us some good players.
When I lived in Temple McLane would have players come and sign autographs at the mall. They would set up right outside my store (Finishline).
Exactly. Just imagine Cuban's spending w/ no salary cap.
But I also agree that Bud and friends are scared to death of him, so I see this as a doubtful scenario
Love him or hate him, the man will be involved and will spend the coin. Can't do anything but help increase the Astros fan base.
sons for whoever buys the Stros ... I just hope they will fix that ridiculous field. back the Crawford Boxes up 10 feet and get rid of that idiotic pole in CF and bring CF in by about 20 feet. beautiful ballpark, horrible field dimensions.
I don't see anyone buying the Astros. McLane will be around for a long time.
Not going to happen.
That's the coolest thing I've ever read/seen or heard
