Anybody watch this show on TLC?

I think it's pretty fun to watch considering I don't really know anything about barbecue besides eating it. All I know is that Myron Mixon and CosmicCowboy appear to be the exact same person.

also, I live near McKinney so I've been wanting to visit the restaurant of that dip who finishes dead last in every compe ion.

The only cooking show I'd ever watch is the one with Giada De Laurentiis on it.

I want to see that show. It looks alright.

Also, Giada has some tig ol' bitties. My wife told me that it looked like she got a boob job because she looks bigger than before. I said "Really? I guess I never noticed."

I HIGHLY recommend trying Clark's Outpost in Tioga off a' 377 (if you haven't already). It'll be lil bit of a drive for ya, but WELL worth it. The most tender brisket I've ever had.

I'd comment on how outstanding the sausage was, but fear I. Hustle would be all over that.

Great show. A little over played for the cameras but good nonetheless. Token Asians are awesome.

I don't know about Giada she does look good but if you see her face from a side angle her nose is a geometric nightmare. I'd also like to see her with a third of that eye makeup. You have to wonder how unattractive she might look with no makeup at all.

Don't get me wrong I'd hit it. Even without makeup.

I've never watched the show but that guy does have the BBQ award creds. Those tournament guys are as much showmanship as they are cooks. I prefer cooking for drunk friends.

Americans dont know what a good barbecue is in my opinion. They burn the meat too much, they let it and the oil burn in flames. A good barbecue'er would never let the meat catch flames, it ruins the texture and the taste of the meat.

Now, on the Balkans and the Gaucho's from Argentina and Uruguay, they know how to barbecue and make meat.

You obviously haven't had good Texas BBQ. Flaming meat? WTF? You obviously are confusing grilling with BBQ smoking which are completely different.

    I'll pass.

And, yeah, not sure why you're the first name that popped into my head w/ THAT one. I seem to recall you labeling me a flamer in another thread, so maybe I'm still butthurt about that.

(I readily admit that my word choice to end the previous sentence was quite poor.)

No no, smoking is smoking, that's a whole different process. But I mean when laying meat on the roster/grill of the barbecue, americans tend to let the meat catch in flames and get grilled like that, instead of just from the heat from below.

Maybe im wrong, but Ive seen alot of Americans do it like that plus over here Americans are known for that.

Anyway, in the Balkans we love BBQ/Grilling and everything meat

You seem to be a big nature, outback and real food lover, I think you would love it in the Balkans.

    +1

I BBQ all the time and I don't let the flames hit the meat. I use charcoal and I let the fire die down and get the heat just right then I go for the kill. I don't like the gas grills but from what I have seen I don't remember anyone keeping the flame high enough to burn the meat like that.
