I knew the moment Pop took Blair out for MASON that we'd lose that 11 point lead and sadly I was right. They went on a 13 to 2 run and tied it at 20.
Everytime we go small we normally lose the game. Players go to the rim and have their way in the paint. Like today, 11 point lead early, gets blair and tim out. goes small and the lead disappears. Makes you wonder if Pop is hittin that flask or drinking before games...

The worst part is Pop thinks he can just put two bigs back and make everything ok. Problem is once guys hit a couple of layups it opens up the rest of their game. When you go small the interior opens up, guys get easy baskets - all of a sudden they relax and play freely and with confidence, and they start making jumpers and driving and dishing.
IMO that initial Small Ball impacted the rest of the game tonight.
Is he getting old or something? What is the reason for this?
No Finley out there so I don't think Pop cares j/k.
